Florida Alligator

Florida has an estimated population of over a million Alligators. We have encroached heavily on their habitate and with encroachment conflicts have become more common between Alligator and man. NEVER FEED ALLIGATORS. The usually shy animal that would work at getting away from humans becomes more aggressive when fed. Each year attacks occur usualy by fed Alligators with sadly the loss of a family pet, or at times attacks on children or adults sometimes with loss of life. Even without an attack a gator that becomes to visable still risks being removed and destroyed. Alligatores have a valuable part in the food chain so however tempted don't feed them and we will have a far better chance to coexist peacefully in this world.
