Weekend and Holiday Get -A-Way Project
Nov 4th 2004, Melissa walnum (my wife) and I (Glenn Walnum) and a business partner (Terry Mooney) bought 4.7 acres in the Park Forest subdivision of Wellborn in the live oaks area of Suwannee county Florida We purchased the property for the purpose of developing it to use as a weekend holiday Get-A-Way.
Living in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, a fast growing metropolis, we wanted and worked towards buying this property for years. Finally we found this property and had the funds for the down payment.
The photos on this page are of Melissa and mine's first trip there (Dec. 2003) after purchasing the property. We brought up some block to make a fire pit. While up there, we started surveying the property to see how we wanted to start cleaning it up. The photos here show about the south first 1/4 of the property.
We decided to call the property Moonum Acres .The name came from the first 3 letters of Mooney and the last 3 letters of Walnum.
