Crabtree Falls |

You can find the 2 mile trail that leads to Crabtree falls in Yancy County, NC. at mp 339.5 of the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is part of the Crabtree Meadows Recreation Area. When entering the park go to the right in the direction of the campgrounds. After passing the information booth, turn right into the parking area for the falls. Crabtree falls is about 70 feet high and is on the Big Crabtree Creek waterway. When you visit the falls, they may look somewhat different as the amount of water coming over the falls, changes depending on time of year and amounts of rain fall and such.
