Trashbugs
Trashbugs are the larvae stage
of Green Lacewings a part of
the Chrysopidae family is a
common
insect to Florida. This
nick name
comes from them
sticking debris
to their backs
to camouflage
themselfs. Another
name for
them is aphid lion.
These Trashbugs are one of the
benificial insects in Florida as
they eat aphids and scale insects
that can damage plants.
